Two men who had stolen a helmet in Hulhumale’ Phase II earlier in September have returned the stolen item, following the CCTV footage the police released in hopes of identifying the identities of the suspects.

The footage was released on 7th of September, showcasing two young men on a Suzuki GN model motorcycle, where they drove into the parking area of a Hulhumale’ apartment complex, when the man in the passenger seat proceeded to snag the helmet placed on another’s motorcycle.

It has been reported that the stolen helmet had been voluntarily turned into the hands of the police by the individuals who had stolen it on the 8th of September.

No further information has been made public as the case is currently ongoing, however the spokesperson has thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation in identifying the individuals, alongside returning the stolen item.
