A young man has been hospitalized in the ICU after his motorcycle lost control and plunged into the sea with him during the 'Racing Championship – Laamu Edition' in L. Gan on Saturday.

Authorities stated they got a call at 09:54 am on Saturday, September 19, indicating that a motorcycle had veered uncontrollably and crashed into the ocean with its rider. The 20-year-old male rider was injured in the incident.

He is presently receiving care in the ICU of L. Gan Regional Hospital.

Authorities announced they are examining the reasons behind the accident and are pursuing additional inquiries regarding the event.
