A group of kids in Male' demonstrated a remarkable act of kindness by distributing juice to workers fixing Ameenee Magu on Tuesday afternoon.

Workers toiling under the scorching sun are frequently observed throughout the city, often going unnoticed by those walking by. Yet amid the day's warmth, these children took a moment to recognize them.

A Facebook video shared by user Mohamed Auzam depicts Male’ City Council workers fixing the road near the old power plant, as children come up to them individually with cups of juice. In the narrow passage by a nearby home, two women can be observed filling cups held by the children with juice from a jug.

As each child extends a cup, the workers beam kindly, receiving the beverage with subdued appreciation.

Auzam characterized the moment as a touching scene, observing that the children provided water and juice while also showing the workers dignity and respect. He noted that the gesture recognized those who construct roads and vital infrastructure in the city, though they frequently go unnoticed and unrecognized.

Male' City Mayor Adam Azim also posted the video, conveying his gratitude. He stated that the children demonstrated that caring, assisting, and kindness should be prioritized in endeavors to improve Male'. The Mayor stated that the empathy shown by the youth should be a model for all.
