Oefaru Aviation Services, the authorized General Sales Agent (GSA) for VietJet Airlines in the Maldives, has presented Vietnam as a perfect new vacation spot for Maldivian families.

The declaration was issued at a special media briefing conducted in V. Fulidhoo, where the company emphasized VietJet’s upcoming flights to the Maldives and the travel prospects they will provide for local travelers.

The briefing, conducted on Friday and Saturday, concentrated on VietJet’s upcoming flight operations set to commence on December 5 this year. The service will link Ho Chi Minh City, Colombo, and Male', running three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Oefaru states that the route will enhance regional travel alternatives and provide Maldivian families with simpler access to Vietnam's varied tourism offerings.

In the session, Oefaru highlighted Vietnam as an affordable and distinctive location, pointing out that the actual expense of an international vacation is influenced by lodging, dining, local transportation, leisure activities, and additional costs aside from flights. To demonstrate this, the company provided a sample budget projecting that a family of four might spend between USD 2,000 and USD 3,000 for a week-long vacation in Vietnam, not including international flights. The estimate includes lodging, meals, local transportation, sightseeing, and emergency costs, while acknowledging that actual expenses differ depending on travel dates, selected locations, and the quality of accommodations.
