According to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, plans are being made to introduce the National Fertility Care Program. He said this during the opening ceremony for the Tree Top Hospital Fertility Center.

President Solih said during the event that the fertility center will bring crucial and brand-new medical care to the Maldives, allowing residents to receive treatment without having to travel abroad and abandon their jobs and families. He pledged that Treetop Hospital will have the full backing of the government in its efforts to increase service.

President Solih emphasized the significance of conducting the National Fertility Care Programme in accordance with international standards and hiring experts ahead of launch in his remarks about the program. He claimed that the government is presently striving to increase public awareness of reproductive health, and that the initiative is anticipated to help the economy by lowering the cost of receiving treatment abroad.

The first-of-its-kind institution in the Maldives, the Tree Top Hospital Fertility Centre, was inaugurated by President Solih  at the ceremony. The facility offers a variety of therapies, including intra-uterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), for the treatment of infertility.
