Brigitta Balsai Appointed as Market Account Director, Sales – Maldives, for Marriott International

Marriott International has appointed Brigitta Balsai as the Market Account Director for its Maldives Sales & Marketing Cluster. Balsai brings over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing within the tourism industry to the role, and has previously served in a leadership role at Marriott International's Global Sales EMEA team.


In her new role, Balsai will be responsible for driving sales for four of Marriott Bonvoy's portfolio of resorts in the Maldives, including JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, W Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, and The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort. She will be based in the Maldives and will report to Shalinee Ahmed, Market Director of Sales and Marketing – Maldives, Marriott International.


Balsai is a highly accomplished professional with a strong track record of success. She is passionate about the hospitality industry and has a deep understanding of the European markets. She is also an avid golfer and enjoys traveling, fine dining, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
