The Chefs Guild of Maldives will be participating in the WorldChefs Asia Presidents Forum in the Philippines from July 31 to August 6, 2023. The forum is an annual convention where presidents from Asia's national associations of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WorldChefs) gather to discuss gastronomical trends and exchange knowledge on sustainable practices.

Ms. Mariyam Noordeen, Founding President of the Chefs Guild of Maldives, will be delivering a presentation at the forum on the performance and future outlook of the Chefs Guild of Maldives. She will also be participating in discussions on the latest trends in sustainable cuisine.

In addition to the forum, the Chefs Guild of Maldives will be sending two representatives to judge the Philippine Culinary Cup 2023, the biggest and most prestigious culinary competition in the Philippines. Chef Fathimath Umar and Chef Mariyam Shiuna are both WorldChefs certified continental judges and are excited to share their expertise with the Filipino culinary community.
