Full-service carrier Vistara announced today that it will launch daily direct flights between Delhi and Male, the capital of the Republic of Maldives, starting October 1, 2023. The flights will be operated by an A320neo aircraft in a three-class configuration, offering Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class seats.
This new route is Vistara's second to the Maldives, after Mumbai-Male. It will provide travelers with more convenient and direct access to one of the world's most popular beach destinations. The flight time between Delhi and Male is approximately four hours.
Vinod Kannan, Chief Executive Officer of Vistara, said, "We are excited to launch this new route, which will further strengthen our ties with the Maldives. The Maldives is a popular tourist destination for Indians, and we are confident that this new service will be well-received by our customers."
The launch of the Delhi-Male route is part of Vistara's expansion plans. The airline has also recently announced new flights to Bali and Tbilisi.
